This pair of ceramic wall sconces from Poland, produced in Łask by the lighting manufacturer K. Łukaszewicz & W. Kościan during the 1970s–80s, exemplifies a modernist reinterpretation of Art Deco style. Each sconce, measuring approximately 20 cm in height and 13 cm in width, features a smooth, high-gloss white ceramic body and a matte glass globe with a 13 cm diameter. The design is defined by bold, geometric lines and gently curved arms, evoking the architectural prestige of the interwar period. The globe is attached with traditional clips, and the fixture is equipped for E27 bulbs, allowing for efficient illumination. The sconces are constructed for use in humid rooms such as bathrooms, combining durability with practical functionality. The pair is preserved in very good condition – the ceramic surfaces and glass globes are free from damage, and the electrical system is fully operational. These sconces resonate with the voice of Polish design from the 1970s, respectfully referencing the luxury of Art Deco while interpreting it through the lens of postwar
