This pair of wall sconces by V.L.S Leuchten, produced in Germany in the 1980s, exemplifies the precision and geometric flair characteristic of late modernist lighting with a nod to Art Deco revival. Each sconce is crafted from highly polished, gold-toned metal, imparting a rich, mirror-like sheen. Three parallel cylindrical tubes are symmetrically arranged on an elongated, rounded backplate, their ends capped with hemispherical tips in a darker bronze-brown metallic finish, adding contrast and visual depth. The construction features a smooth, lustrous surface with minimal visible joints and fixings. At the base of each sconce, a pull switch in matching gold metal ensures stylistic cohesion. Height 25 cm, width 12 cm, depth 7 cm. The sconces are designed for E14 light bulbs (not included). They are preserved in very good original condition, with only minor traces of oxidation visible on close inspection.
