This pair of wall sconces by Art-Line, made in Germany in the 1970s, showcases a robust construction from solid, chrome-plated brass. The lamps feature a bold, geometric composition characteristic of late modernism with clear Art Deco influences: elongated arms (40 cm wide) support cylindrical shades where mirror-like chrome contrasts with matte, perforated brass. The regular perforations on the golden brass sections create a subtle decorative texture and allow light to diffuse gently. Chrome surfaces reflect their surroundings, highlighting the precision of craftsmanship. The base and supporting rods are finished in gleaming brass, completing the cohesive design. The sconces are fitted for E14 bulbs. Preserved in very good condition, with only minor signs of oxidation on the brass, typical for genuine vintage pieces.
