This pair of Vitrika wall sconces, produced in Denmark in the 1960s, exemplifies mid-century modern lighting with a distinctly geometric language. Each sconce features three vertically aligned, elongated oval backplates crafted from brushed, gold-toned metal with a matte finish. At the center of each oval sits a thick, textured glass panel, its relief forming a pronounced, grid-like pattern that is slightly raised, creating a three-dimensional effect. The glass is partially amber-tinted, with a gradient that intensifies toward the bottom. The construction is meticulously executed: from the invisible front joints to the harmonious proportions and crisp lines. The sconces are fitted with E14 sockets and 65 cm cords with plugs.
