This faceted crystal glass paperweight from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, dated circa 1900, exemplifies the decorative craftsmanship of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Crafted from high-clarity crystal glass, it takes the form of a solid cylinder with harmonious proportions (height 11.5 cm, diameter 7 cm). The surface features carefully polished, geometric facets that create subtle prismatic effects when they catch the light, enhancing the depth of the glass. Inside, there is a meticulously arranged floral composition in multicolored mosaic glass: vibrant orange petals dominate, complemented by white and delicate pink accents, with stems rendered in translucent glass, and a textured, colorful mosaic at the base evoking stylized soil with specks of yellow, blue, red, and green. Small air bubbles are artistically embedded within the glass, adding a sense of depth. The piece is in excellent, undamaged condition—free from chips, cracks, or signs of restoration.
