This faceted crystal paperweight from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, circa 1900, exemplifies the refined craftsmanship and decorative sensibility of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Inside, a meticulously composed floral mosaic in shades of white, blue, and red, with greenish-yellow centers and delicate air bubbles, is set atop a swirling base of blue, white, and brown glass, evoking natural stone or earth. Measuring 11 cm in height and 8 cm in diameter, the paperweight is in very good condition, with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of heavy use.
