ABOUT PRODUCTID 18111
This large crystal paperweight, crafted in Silesia in the late 19th century, exemplifies the refined artistry of the region’s glassmaking tradition. Its gently flattened spherical form rests on a polished base, rendered from clear, colorless crystal glass notable for its transparency and lustrous finish. Encased within is a decorative composition: three stylized flowers fashioned via the millefiori method, with colorful mosaic glass featuring vivid reds, greens, blacks, whites, and purple. Each flower petal displays distinctive striping, creating a graphic contrast against the clarity of the crystal. The stems show muted, grainy green-grey hues, while the base contains fine air bubbles and colored glass fragments, evoking a delicate, sandy ground. The arrangement reflects careful precision in symmetry and proportion, characteristic of late 19th-century Silesian glassware. There are no visible chips, cracks, or signs of wear—this piece remains in very good condition. The paperweight, sealed within crystal,
