This large Silesian paperweight from the late 19th century is crafted from thick, clear glass in an oval, gently domed form. Within its highly polished, lustrous surface lies an intricate floral arrangement made in the millefiori style: a prominent flower with pale pink and white petals and a translucent stem is surrounded by smaller blooms in vivid blue, white, and red, while fine green glass threads evoke grass or stems, adding an impression of motion and depth. Countless air bubbles of varied sizes punctuate the interior, underscoring its artisan origin. The outer surface displays exceptional clarity and a sleek, smooth finish.
