ABOUT PRODUCTID 17433
The Aladdin ceiling lamp by Vitrika, crafted in Denmark during the 1960s, is a striking example of mid-century modern design. Its structure alternates vertically oriented panels of matte, brushed metal in a warm, satin gold tone with thick glass sections tinted pale amber. The glass is deeply embossed with geometric, sunburst patterns, reminiscent of Scandinavian decorative motifs from the era. Each metal segment is adorned with two large, multifaceted amber glass gems cut in a jewel-like hexagonal shape, providing a refined contrast with the metal’s muted finish. The lamp is suspended from a double chain in a brass hue, seamlessly integrating with the palette of the fixture. All connections and finishes exhibit the meticulous craftsmanship associated with the mid-century period, and the lamp shows no signs of damage or wear. Its condition is very good: minimal traces of use, untouched metal surface, and intact original fittings. In its form, the lamp seems to echo the voice of the 1960s: bringing together geometry and precision while inviting a subtle interplay of light and color—qualities so distinctive to the optimistic spirit of Scandinavian design’s golden age. The soft golden luster and pale amber glass collaborate to evoke the atmosphere of cinematic evenings, when light flickered freely across well-made objects. Faceted glass 'jewels' draw the eye with understated elegance—an ornamental detail that complements rather than overpowers the composition. The lamp could be paired with furniture featuring simple, minimalist
