This pendant lamp from Doria Leuchten, produced in Germany by Limburg in the 1970s, exemplifies refined European modernism with clear influences from the space-age movement. Its construction combines polished brass in a warm golden tone with hand-blown Murano glass in shades of amber and transparent depth. The shade stands out for its sculptural, organic form, featuring fluid drips and folds that give it an almost liquid surface effect. The slender brass neck and canopy contrast with the bulbous glass body, creating a harmonious composition of lines and proportions characteristic of the 1970s. High-quality craftsmanship is evident in the precise, integrated fittings and seamless joints. Measuring 80 cm in height and 25 cm in diameter, the lamp is in very good vintage condition – with natural brass patina and a single glass chip visible on one section, consistent with its age.
