ABOUT PRODUCTID 6493
This pendant ceiling lamp, produced in Poland in the 1920s, exemplifies the refined design language of the Art Deco era. Its defining feature is a ribbed, layered glass shade in a soft ivory white with a subtle pink-beige undertone. The glossy, vertically fluted surface of the shade creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, emphasizing the lamp’s geometric symmetry. The chromed steel fitting comprises a streamlined cylindrical rod and a minimalist mounting cap in a cool metallic sheen, lending an understated character in line with Art Deco aesthetics. With overall dimensions of 46 cm in height and 23 cm in diameter, and a 15 cm tall shade, the lamp accommodates a standard E27 bulb. The electrical system is fully functional. The piece is preserved in very good vintage condition—there are no cracks or chips in the glass, the construction is solid, and the metal elements show only minor, age-typical traces. This lamp seems to echo the narrative of the 1920s, when architecture and design sought a balance between ornamentation and modernity
