ABOUT PRODUCTID 337
This Art Deco pendant lamp, crafted in Poland in the 1920s, displays a thoughtful combination of transparent, textured glass and polished brass. The shade, made of clear glass, features pronounced vertical ribbing and undulating, scalloped edges, introducing organic softness to the geometric discipline of the era. The brass components—stepped ceiling rose, straight rod, and collar with visible screws—present a warm, golden hue and mirror-like surface, characteristic of luxury craftsmanship from the interwar period. An E27 socket with a ceramic insert completes the construction, and the lamp remains in very good condition: the glass is free from chips or clouding, the brass retains its original luster, and the electrical installation has been updated for safety.Within this lamp lies the story of Polish Art Deco—a time when lighting was designed not only to dispel darkness but also to set the tone for gatherings in refined interiors. The shade, reminiscent of an open flower or bell, appears to capture light and gently reflect it across walls and ceiling. The highly polished brass acts as a mirror, infusing the space with a touch of brilliance and distinction, hallmarks of the 1920s.The lamp may be suspended above a dining table or as a centerpiece in a living room, where its decorative shade becomes a visual anchor. It would complement period furnishings—veneered sideboards, marble tables, bentwood chairs—or serve as a vintage accent in contemporary interiors with natural materials. It can be paired with glass or polished metal
