BLEND 9 is a pendant lamp designed by Sabina Grubbeson in 2015, featuring a minimalist silhouette inspired by Scandinavian design. The cylindrical metal body is finished in matte white and transitions to a lower element in brushed, satin-finish brass. Its proportions are balanced—a slim vertical line with a gently flared base emphasizes the lamp's graphic character. The cable, up to 3 meters long, allows flexible installation height. Smooth, matte surfaces contrast with the subtle sheen of the brass accent, while the absence of visible joints and screws highlights the precision of craftsmanship. The form of BLEND 9 communicates restraint and the clarity of contemporary design. The interplay of cool white and the warm tone of brass visually evokes the meeting of light and shadow, while the geometric body, free from unnecessary ornamentation, draws attention to proportion and refined detail. The lamp can be read as a quiet accent that does not dominate the interior but creates a harmonious axis around which the space is organized. BLEND 9 works well above a low coffee table, in a composition of several lamps lined up above a kitchen island, or as a single light point in a living room with a bright, neutral palette. It can be paired with furniture featuring clean lines, textiles in shades of grey or beige, and accessories made of natural wood or white ceramics. Surrounded by matte surfaces and diffused light, the lamp underlines a calm and balanced interior arrangement. The light source is a G4 bulb with a maximum power of 2 W (not included). The lamp is fitted with a metal ceiling rose, and the cable length up to 300 cm allows adjustment of the suspension height. All surfaces are easy to keep clean thanks to their smooth finish.
