This pendant lamp, designed by Helena Tynell for Limburg in the 1960s/70s, embodies the spirit of German mid-century modern design. Its construction features an upper section of cylindrical, chrome- or nickel-plated metal with a highly polished, mirror-like finish, paired with a hand-blown, transparent glass shade distinguished by a sculptural 'bubble glass' texture. Evenly spaced, raised bubbles give the glass a three-dimensional depth and playful visual effect. The lamp's proportions are harmonious: the metal cylinder comprises about one-third of the total height, while the glass shade forms a compact block with a diameter of 19 cm. The components are seamlessly joined, suspended from a simple black cord that highlights the minimalist aesthetic. The total height is 80 cm, with materials and finishes authentic to the era.
