DONNA 18 is a pendant lamp with a cylindrical aluminum shade, distinctly ribbed along its entire surface. Its matte, light beige color emphasizes the rhythmic pattern of deep vertical grooves, evoking the soft folds of fabric. The top of the shade is finished with a smooth, slightly raised ring in the same tone and texture. The lamp is suspended from a slender, white cord measuring 3 meters, which subtly blends into the overall design. Slim proportions (18 cm diameter, 25 cm height) and seamless, precise finishing create a contemporary, minimalist character. The design was conceived in 2019 by Nina Jobs and Stina Sandwall. The form of DONNA 18 expresses visual calm and subtlety—regular ribbing creates a soft play of light and shadow, while the matte surface diffuses light gently. The lamp embodies the quiet expression of Scandinavian design; geometry and material interact with rhythm and tactile texture. The piece does not dominate the space but discreetly shapes its atmosphere, introducing a sense of order and balance. The lamp is well suited for placement above a dining table, kitchen island, or in a living room lounge area, where its neutral color can be easily paired with light wood, white, or grey tones.
