This pendant lamp, designed by Bent Nordsted for Danish brand Lyskaer in the 1970s, is a classic example of Scandinavian modernism. Its construction features a series of concentric, horizontally stacked aluminum discs in a warm, champagne-gold and copper tone. The largest bottom disc is finished in a light, creamy shade underneath to enhance even light diffusion, while the interior has a more reflective, golden finish that intensifies the lamp’s glow. The lamp hangs from a black, fabric-covered cord and is completed by a metal ceiling rose in a matching tone.
