ABOUT PRODUCTID 29651
This pendant lamp by Helena Tynell for Limburg exemplifies 1960s European lighting, merging sculptural form with the functional clarity of mid-century modernism. The hand-blown glass shade, in a warm amber-gold hue with a subtle champagne tint, is distinguished by its geometric, honeycomb relief—a faceted surface that diffuses light with remarkable softness and depth. The upper section is a cylindrical brass element with a satin-matte finish and an even vintage patina, connected by a black textile cord and minimalist black ceiling rose. Model 1573 retains the original manufacturer’s sticker. The total height is approximately 74 cm, with a glass shade 25 cm in diameter and 20 cm high. The lamp remains in very good vintage condition, showing slight traces of age-related wear and a uniform patina on the metal elements, with no visible cracks or chips in the glass.
The lamp speaks in the optimistic tone of the 1960s: the glass seems to have captured a ray of afternoon sun, while the amber hue gently suffuses the room with soft light. The shade’s geometry tells of a fascination with modernism, yet carries an organic freedom—a piece that guides daily life with subtle rhythm rather than dominance. The patinated brass top recalls the passage of time and artisanal skill, as though inviting a quiet dialogue with the past.
This lamp could be suspended above a dining table, where the glass pattern would create luminous reflections;
