This pendant lamp, designed by Carl Fagerlund for the Swedish glassworks Orrefors in the 1960s, is a refined example of Scandinavian mid-century modern lighting in a luxurious interpretation. Its construction is based on a highly polished brass frame in a warm golden tone, on which meticulously faceted clear crystal elements are arranged. The central bowl features deep faceting and relief geometric-floral patterns, while the outer ring is formed by large, diamond-cut crystals set into the gold frame. The whole lamp has a circular, slightly convex form measuring 40 cm in diameter and 45 cm in height. Visible structural details—subtle joints and precise screws—testify to the high level of craftsmanship. The lamp is designed for six E14 bulbs. It remains in very good condition, with no visible damage, chips, or notable signs of wear; the brass retains its original luster.The form of this lamp expresses the aspirations of postwar Scandinavia—its pursuit of light, clarity, and understated luxury.
