ABOUT PRODUCTID 29913
This Danish pendant lamp from the 1960s is a distinctive example of Scandinavian modernism. Its main feature is a spherical shade made of semi-transparent glass in a cool, light grey tone, with a bold diamond-textured pattern that gives the surface a tactile, refined appearance and allows light to diffuse softly and evenly. The upper part is finished with a slender, conical teak wood detail, bringing a warm, natural contrast to the glass body. A subtle brass ring with a satin, matte finish separates the wood from the glass, introducing an elegant metallic accent. The lamp is suspended from a discreet white cord that blends seamlessly into the background. The overall proportions are harmonious: the substantial glass shade is balanced by the lightness of the wooden top, perfectly reflecting the mid-century modern aesthetic. Preserved in very good vintage condition, the lamp shows no damages, chips, or cracks—only minimal traces of age. It has been carefully cleaned and is ready for use. This lamp echoes the voice of 1960s Scandinavian design: simplicity of form meets attention to detail and respect for natural materials. The glass shade, diffusing light, creates a gentle interplay of brightness and shadow, evoking the atmosphere of northern evenings when interiors take on a soft, inviting character.
