This pendant lamp, produced by the German glassworks Limburg in the 1970s, is distinguished by its wide, flared shade made of transparent glass with a subtle amber tint. The gently undulating, organic silhouette of the shade is punctuated by tiny air bubbles frozen within the glass mass, giving it a unique texture. The glossy, highly polished surface reflects light softly, while the upper section is accented by brass fittings: a decorative ring and cylindrical details bearing a natural patina and visible signs of oxidation. The shade is suspended on a black cable, providing a contrast to the transparent glass and golden accents. With its dimensions – 50 cm in diameter, 90 cm in height – the lamp’s proportions emphasize its decorative, sculptural presence. The lamp is in good vintage condition; there is no damage to the glass, and the metal parts display typical age-related patina and oxidation found in original pieces from this period.
