The Model P700 is a large pendant lamp designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm for Nordisk Solar in Denmark in 1964. Its structure consists of five concentric, horizontally stacked aluminum discs, uniformly finished in a warm, satin-brushed brass with a rich golden hue. The lamp is fitted with a single E27 socket supporting bulbs up to 200 W. Its proportions—wide, shallow profile topped with a cylindrical central stem and suspended from an almost invisible white cord—emphasize the clear geometry of mid-century modern design. The surface is smooth with precision, seamless joints and no additional color accents. The lamp is preserved in very good vintage condition, showing only minimal signs of use, with no significant dents or scratches; the wiring has been replaced, and the lamp is fully functional. This form echoes the voice of Danish modernism from the 1960s, a time when lighting was intended not only to be practical but also to define the rhythm of space.
