ABOUT PRODUCTID 8945
The Mazzega pendant lamp from the 1970s exemplifies Italian mid-century modern design. Its impressive spherical glass shade (60 cm high, 30 cm diameter) is crafted from molded glass divided into segments: the upper portion features a matte, milky white finish that transitions smoothly into clear, vertically ribbed glass. The base of the shade is adorned with radiating accents in amber and orange tones, emanating from the center. The entire fixture is suspended from a robust brass mount with a ribbed cylindrical element and a round ceiling rose. The glass surface is glossy, while the brass retains a subtly aged, polished patina characteristic of vintage pieces. Visible screws on the collar emphasize the artisanal quality of the lamp. Designed for a single E27 bulb (not included), the lamp is preserved in very good condition—brass components show minor signs of age, and the glass is free of visible damage. This lamp echoes the voice of Italian design in the 1970s, a period marked by bold experimentation with light, color, and modern glass techniques. The segmented shade and flowing amber and orange accents evoke organic inspiration and the vibrant energy of dolce vita. The spherical form captures light, which softly reflects on its glossy surfaces, creating a cinematic interplay
