ABOUT PRODUCTID 4440
This pendant lamp from 1970s Poland embodies the modernist spirit characteristic of the era’s lighting design. Its construction centers on a large, spherical shade made of amber glass with a subtly irregular, artisanal texture and visible air bubbles within the glass mass. The upper section features a cylindrical element crafted from brushed aluminium in a cool, matte silver tone. A key detail is the black, circular mounting ring, joining the glass and aluminium and emphasizing the lamp’s geometric clarity. The lamp is suspended from a thin, white cord with an adjustable length (approx. 0.3–0.5 m). Overall dimensions are 80 cm in height and 20 cm in width. It takes a standard E27 bulb. The lamp is preserved in very good vintage condition – no visible damage or significant signs of wear; all components appear original and unrestored. The lamp’s form is a clear reference to the 1970s modernism, when Polish design embraced minimalist silhouettes and refined material juxtapositions. The amber glass, glowing when illuminated, recalls the soft, atmospheric evenings of the era, while the cool aluminium adds architectural discipline. This
