ABOUT PRODUCTID 9447
The PH 4/3 lamp, designed by Poul Henningsen and produced by Louis Poulsen in Denmark during the 1960s, exemplifies mid-century Scandinavian design. The metal construction is entirely coated in a rich, matte blue finish, characterized by a uniform, subtly satin texture. The design's hallmark is the three-shade system based on a logarithmic spiral; three precisely formed shades decrease in diameter and are layered to ensure even light diffusion without glare. The lamp is suspended from a white cord that subtly contrasts with the blue body, and its proportions (40 cm wide and 17 cm high) reflect a balanced, architectural rhythm. Connections between elements are seamless, maintaining the purity of the lamp’s lines. The fixture comes with new wiring and is compatible with an E27 bulb. It is preserved in very good condition, with only minimal, barely perceptible traces of use typical for 1960s vintage pieces. This
