The PH 5 pendant lamp, designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen in Denmark in the 1990s, is an exemplary piece of late Scandinavian modernism. Its construction features multiple concentric, gently curved metal shades—the dominant color is a cool, matte blue, contrasted by matte white interiors and the uppermost element. Lavender-toned connectors add a discreet accent, while the matte finish imparts a soft visual quality. A black braided cord and a new metal ceiling rose complete the composition.
