The PH 5 pendant lamp, designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen in Denmark during the 1980s, is a classic example of Danish mid-century modernism. Crafted entirely from aluminum, it features a layered, concentric construction: the outer shades display a muted matte red, while the inner surfaces are finished in matte white to promote even light diffusion and prevent glare. Distinctive lavender-blue connectors join the shades, adding a subtle color accent.
