The PH5 pendant lamp, designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen and produced in Denmark in the 1990s, is a quintessential example of late 20th-century Scandinavian modernism. Its design is built around four overlapping, painted aluminum shades in a warm, creamy vanilla tone with a subtle matte finish. The lamp's silhouette is balanced and symmetrical, with slender white supports connecting the layered shades to create a harmonious, architectural form. The interior surfaces are finished in white, enhancing light reflection and providing gentle, diffuse illumination that bathes both the downward area and the lamp itself. A bottom diffuser further softens direct glare. Every element, including the original suspension and diffuser, remains authentic; the cord is approximately 200 cm in length.
