ABOUT PRODUCTID 9618
The PH5 pendant lamp, designed by Poul Henningsen for the Danish brand Louis Poulsen in 1958 and produced in the 1960s, is built on a multi-layered metal structure composed of several concentrically arranged, gently curved shades. This design ensures even light diffusion and eliminates glare. The lamp is finished in a cool, matte white with a subtle satin sheen, highlighting the smoothness and precision of its craftsmanship. Slender connecting rods in a delicate purple hue add a discreet touch of color and a sense of lightness. The overall form is harmonious and sculptural, with a wide lower shade and smaller upper elements creating a balanced silhouette. The power cable has been replaced with a new, white cord, matching the lamp's aesthetic. Condition: the lamp is in excellent, original condition, with no visible signs of wear, fully functional and ready for use. This lamp echoes the voice of 1960s Danish modernism, an era when light was treated as a precious material and design was meant to enhance daily comfort
