This Polam pendant lamp, produced in Wieliczka in the 1960s by Zakłady Sprzętu Oświetleniowego Polam Meos, stands out with its bold, rounded form and iconic Pop Art-inspired color palette. The lampshade is made of profiled, layered glass in a warm, creamy yellow, gently fading from a deeper base to an almost ivory tone at the top. Its glossy, mirror-like glass surface accentuates the sculptural silhouette and amplifies the lamp’s luminous effect. Suspended from a black cord with a simple ceiling rose and fitting, the lamp achieves a minimalist contrast against the vibrant shade. It features an E27 socket, adjustable height, and has been preserved in very good condition—the glass remains flawless, and the electrical installation has been replaced with a new one. This lamp channels the optimistic spirit of the 1960s, when Polish design confidently drew from international Pop Art and mid-century modern influences.
