The Polam pendant lamp, produced in Wieliczka in the 1960s, stands as a vivid testament to Polish Pop Art and post-war industrial design. Its shade is crafted from thick, layered glass, shaped into a softly bulbous form with a wide base and a distinctive, narrowing collar. The entire piece is finished in a uniform, saturated yellow with a mirror-like gloss and a smooth, flawless surface free from dullness or scratches. The glass is without chips or defects. Suspended from a black cord and fitted with an E27 socket, the lamp features an adjustable hanging height, making it functional for both low and high-ceilinged interiors. The original electrical wiring has been replaced with new, safe installation. Dimensions: total height 90 cm, shade diameter 25 cm, shade height with fitting 30 cm. Preserved in very good condition, with no visible signs of use. This lamp echoes the spirit of the 1960s—a decade marked by faith in progress, color, and bold geometric forms.
