ABOUT PRODUCTID 1936
This pendant lamp, manufactured by Polam Meos in Wieliczka during the 1960s, encapsulates the Polish interpretation of Pop Art design. Its shade, crafted from layered, molded glass in a vivid amber-yellow hue, forms a sculptural, dynamic silhouette: three rounded, stacked segments evoke the organic forms typical of the era. The perfectly smooth, glossy surface of the glass reflects light with a mirror-like effect, while a subtle gradient lightens toward the bottom, adding spatial depth. The lamp is fitted with an E27 socket, suspended from a black cord with a matching ceiling cap, and features height adjustment for versatile placement. The electrical installation has been replaced for safety. The condition is very good—there are no visible signs of wear, the glass is flawless, and the piece remains in collector’s condition. The lamp’s form expresses the spirit of the 1960s, when color and shape were intended to inspire optimism and joy. Its silhouette, built from softly contoured rings, seems to pulse with energy, bringing a fragment of Pop Art fantasy into any interior.
