The Pusteblume pendant lamp by Solken Leuchten is a piece of 1970s German design, crafted from chromed metal and clear plexiglass. Its cylindrical body, made from highly polished, silver-toned metal, serves as the foundation for four large plexiglass panels. Each panel features a three-dimensional, relief dandelion motif with radiating lines and raised bubble accents, arranged symmetrically around the central light. The transparent plexiglass elements gently diffuse the light, highlighting the lamp’s geometric yet organic silhouette. With proportions of 20 cm width and 25 cm height (shade diameter 20 cm), the lamp is a distinct yet balanced accent. The overall aesthetic is mid-century modern with marked ‘space age’ influences—visible in both the choice of materials and decorative details.
