This glass pendant lamp by Peill & Putzler, produced in 1970s Germany, exemplifies space age design where bold color contrasts and sculptural forms harmonize. The two-part lampshade, crafted from thick, high-quality glass, features an upper segment in vibrant, glossy red and a lower part in pristine white, both with a lustrous, smooth finish. The transition between the two colors is sharp and precise, emphasizing the lamp's layered silhouette. The lamp is suspended from a black cord with a chrome-plated metal ceiling mount. Dimensions are 25 cm in height and 35 cm in diameter, with a cable length of 40 cm. The proportions are balanced: a wide, flared midsection contrasts with the more compact top and bottom.
