The multi-tiered pendant lamp by A/S Ronald, Denmark, is crafted in the spirit of Scandinavian modernism—drawing inspiration from the design language of the 1960s and 1970s, yet realized in the 21st century. Its shade is composed of overlapping, circular metal discs finished in a high-gloss, mirror-like copper that shifts in tone from rose gold to deep bronze depending on the angle of the light. The underside is finished in white, providing a crisp contrast to the reflective copper and enhancing the quality of light diffusion. A central copper-colored ring encircles the bulb socket, and the lamp is suspended from a black fabric-covered cord with a matching copper ceiling rose. With a diameter of 42 cm and a drop of up to 200 cm, this lamp is suitable for both expansive and more intimate interiors. It is preserved in very good condition, unused and stored in its original box; there are some areas of patina and discoloration typical of age and storage, but no damage or signs of heavy use.The form of this lamp evokes the futuristic optimism of mid-century Scandinavian design, where geometry becomes a vessel for both light and reflection.
