The Verona pendant lamp, designed by Svend Middelboe, offers a contemporary interpretation of Danish modernism with clear mid-century references. Its construction is based on eight concentric, horizontally arranged metal discs of varying diameters, forming a precise, multi-layered silhouette. The entire piece is finished in a uniform matte white – from the shade and cord to the ceiling mount. The metal surface is perfectly smooth, lacking any gloss or visible texture, while the lamp’s proportions are meticulously balanced: the largest disc sits at the center, with the diameters gradually decreasing both upwards and downwards. The construction reveals no visible joints or fasteners, emphasizing the seamless, unified character of the form. The lamp is preserved in excellent condition – there are no signs of wear, damage, or restoration; all elements are original, and the set includes the original packaging and accessories.
