This pendant lamp, originating from Austria-Hungary circa 1900, is constructed from brass and glass—materials emblematic of the turn of the 20th century. The spherical shade, crafted from smooth, milky white glass and secured with three visible screws to a profiled brass collar, diffuses light evenly throughout the room. The main structure features a slender rod joining the shade to a flared ceiling rose, complemented by a subtle decorative ring with delicate detailing. The brass retains its original, gently darkened patina, while the glass remains free from chips or cracks. The electrical system, with a decorative braided cord, is fully functional, and the E27 socket is compatible with contemporary light bulbs.
