This cascading space age ceiling light, designed by Klaus Hempel for Kaiser Leuchten in 1972, encapsulates the essence of 1970s German design. The construction features five pendant modules, each composed of three stacked, hemispherical metal shades finished in matte white. Subtle chrome accents on the head-mirrored bulbs evoke a futuristic tone, while the geometric symmetry and clean lines create a cohesive, visually lightweight form. With seamless joints and precise execution, the lamp serves as a five-arm chandelier using E27 mirrored bulbs, casting indirect, diffused light and a sculptural interplay of reflections.
