ABOUT PRODUCTID 27807
This Art Deco perfume bottle from the 1920s was crafted in Prague from 900 silver. The body takes on a flattened, symmetrical form with softly undulating, scalloped edges, characteristic of the period's ornamental language. Both sides are richly engraved with intricate floral and foliate motifs, blending the geometric rigor of Art Deco with organic, flowing lines. The central cartouche has been left blank for personalisation, such as initials or a date. The polished silver surface, with subtle patina in the recesses, highlights the depth of the engraving. The cap, made of deep red Bakelite, is smoothly rounded with a glossy finish, creating a striking contrast to the cool silver body. Completing the design, a long golden tassel made of fine, lustrous threads is attached to the cap. The construction is precise and cohesive, free of visible repairs or damage. The bottle is preserved in very good condition, showing only minimal signs of use consistent with its age.The form of this bottle evokes the spirit of the 1920s, when Art Deco merged classical symmetry with modern refinement and intricate detail. The silver surfaces reflect light with a soft sheen, while the engraved lines echo the era’s fascination with geometry and nature. The red Bakelite
