ABOUT PRODUCTID 28869
This Biedermeier perfume bottle, crafted in Austria between 1820 and 1830, is an exemplary piece of early 19th-century craftsmanship. The body is flat and rectangular with softly rounded edges, while geometric, faceted relief cuts in the glass create striking light reflections. The bottle is made from layered glass: a vivid, glossy pink outer layer contrasts with an almost ivory-toned inner layer, visible through the cut panels. The surface is hand-painted with floral motifs in blue, yellow, red, and green, arranged symmetrically, featuring a central bouquet on the front and smaller compositions on the sides. The closure is a matte-finished brass cap, attached to the neck with a delicate chain, concealing the original glass stopper underneath. The transitions between glass and metal are seamless and carefully finished. The overall style reflects the clarity and restrained ornamentation of early Biedermeier. The bottle is in excellent condition, with no visible chips, losses, or signs of restoration; all original elements, including the chain and stopper, are intact, confirming its authenticity. This small bottle evokes the refined intimacy of Bieder
