This French perfume bottle from the Louis Philippe period (circa 1830–1848) is crafted from clear, hand-cut crystal with a square base and softly rounded edges. The body is substantial and highly transparent, its polished surface reflecting light and highlighting the precision of 19th-century French craftsmanship. The bottle is topped with an ornate, hinged cap of gilded metal in a warm gold tone, richly decorated with repoussé floral motifs, including a detailed rose at the top. The closure is tight, completed with a subtle glass stopper, and the construction combines geometric simplicity in the crystal with the opulence of decorative metalwork—hallmarks of the Louis Philippe style. Both materials—high-quality crystal and gilded metal—are preserved in very good antique condition, with only minor traces of use and gentle patina on the metal, typical of the period.
