This French perfume bottle from the second half of the 19th century exemplifies the refined craftsmanship of the Rococo Revival and late Victorian eras. The compact body (height 6 cm, width 2.8 cm, depth 3 cm, weight 73 g) is made from finely cut crystal, encased in matte, cool-toned silver. The silver surface is marked by an expressive patina, accentuating the depth of the raised floral and botanical motifs that wrap the entire body and the gently domed, hinged lid. At the front, an engraved monogram sits in an ornate cartouche, while the base bears clear silver hallmarks and the silversmith's mark, confirming the piece’s authenticity.
