This hand-knotted Indo Bidjar rug, measuring 230 × 230 cm, was crafted in India in the 1990s and features classic Persian design with a dense all-over Herati pattern—an intricate combination of floral and geometric motifs typical of the Bidjar region. The main color is a muted, vintage brick red enriched with deep navy blue, golden beige, and olive green accents. A wide, multi-layered border decorated with stylized flowers and winding vines frames the central field, surrounded by narrower beige and red guard bands. The pile is made from 100% wool, thick and compact, with a subtle, cashmere-like sheen, while hand-finished edges and naturally irregular corners confirm its handmade origin.
