This early 20th-century Art Nouveau (Secessionist) photo frame, produced in Poland circa 1900-1910, is a standing piece distinguished by its geometric Secessionist silhouette. The frame is crafted from gilded pewter and steel, presenting a warm, matte gold tone with a subtle sheen. The ornamentation blends geometric and organic motifs: side panels are adorned with stylized, raised roses and flowing lines, while the top is crowned by a triangular pediment with openwork detailing, lending a sense of verticality and lightness. The lower section features small, square cut-outs and additional geometric embellishments. The glass front protects a photograph measuring 16 × 11 cm. Measuring 22.5 × 14.5 × 14 cm, the frame is solidly constructed and carefully finished, with a predominantly smooth surface and decorative bands in low relief. Its overall condition is very good, with only minimal patina and minor signs of wear typical for its era. In this frame, the voice of early modernism and Secessionist imagination can be sensed: its form tells the story of an age when architecture and applied arts combined natural inspiration with geometric order. The gilded pewter and steel form a noble pairing, evoking interiors
