This miniature Italian photo frame, crafted in the early 20th century, embodies the essence of classic Venetian craftsmanship. Its structure is built on a solid brass base in a warm golden hue, finished with gilding or galvanization. The front is adorned with a millefiori mosaic—delicately arranged, micro glass tesserae form a multicolored, botanical carpet upon a deep navy blue background: reds, yellows, whites, green, and orange compose floral and geometric motifs, with stylized plant forms accentuating the corners. The oval window (3.5 × 4.5 cm) is protected by the original glass pane, and the interior features an authentic sepia photograph of a gentleman. Softly contoured, spherical brass feet and a functional, movable support allow the frame to be displayed on a desk or sideboard. Overall dimensions: height 6 cm, width 4.8 cm, depth with support extended 5 cm.
