This pitcher, designed by Zygmunt Buksowicz, was produced in the 1960s by the Steatyt porcelain factory in Katowice, active from 1947 to 1994. Made from white porcelain, it features a slightly matte, distinctly textured finish, with the entire surface covered in a dense pattern of small, raised dots. Decorative motifs in metallic gold and deep navy blue are applied in a glossy finish, contrasting with the matte background—these resemble stylized, branching forms. The slender, elegantly curved handle is finished in shiny silver, while the pitcher’s proportions are elongated: a narrow neck flares dramatically at the spout, the body is rounded and bulbous, and the slightly raised base is accented with a thin metallic line. The construction is precise and carefully executed; all original decorative elements and finishes are fully preserved.
