This pitcher from the Steatyt porcelain factory in Katowice, dated to around 1960, exemplifies the distinctive Pop Art style of the 1960s. Crafted from white porcelain, the piece features a bold gradient green glaze, shifting from a lighter, lime shade at the top to a deep, saturated green at the base. The clearly hammered, dimpled texture adds a tactile quality to the porcelain. Decoration consists of large, abstract white floral motifs with hand-painted golden starbursts at the center, introducing a playful, dynamic rhythm. The handle and rim are finished with a glossy, metallic silver glaze, contrasting with the matte, textured body.
