ABOUT PRODUCTID 42602
This BRAUN PHOTOTECHNIK projector or plant stand is a 1990s piece that exemplifies the functional minimalism characteristic of late twentieth-century design. Its structure features a matte black, tubular metal frame with two rectangular, light-colored laminated shelves edged in black. The geometric, cross-braced form and visible screws reference subtle industrial influences, while the proportions—larger upper shelf and a smaller lower one—offer practical versatility. A discreet manufacturer's sticker appears on the frame as a nod to its provenance. The stand remains in very good condition: the frame shows minor scratches and the upper shelf bears some adhesive tape residue, neither of which affects its stability or utility. The stand reflects the pragmatic spirit of 1990s German utility design—unadorned, honest, and focused on clarity of function. The subtle sheen of its shelves conjures memories of home slide projections, while the matte metal frame communicates readiness for everyday demands. Its minimalist presence tells a story of an era when design served as an unobtrusive backdrop to life, leaving the shelves and frame as a neutral canvas for new uses, whether for projections or displaying greenery. This piece can be seamlessly integrated into both modernist and industrial-inspired interiors. It could be paired with concrete planters, simple ceramics, or contemporary metal lighting. In a living room, it can function as a convenient side table by the sofa or as a platform for displaying posters and art books. It could also serve as a distinctive base for large potted plants or designer audio equipment, especially in spaces where clarity of form and composition is valued.Dimensions: width
