This decorative Danish platter from the 1950s is crafted from brass with a layer of silver plating. The low, wide, organic form features softly undulating, irregular edges reminiscent of a shell or an open flower — a motif characteristic of the late art déco and early mid-century modern transitional period. Three small, spherical feet in polished, golden-hued brass contrast with the cool, matte silver body, highlighting a subtle interplay of materials.
