This Austrian pocket watch stand from the 1920s is crafted from solid, golden brass and draws inspiration from rocaille ornamentation—a late Rococo flourish on the threshold of Art Deco. The structure rests on a dynamically curved volute, richly decorated with leaf and shell motifs typical for the rocaille style. The surface blends matte and subtly glossy sections, with darker, oxidized patina accents in the relief recesses. The rectangular base, softly rounded at the corners, is textured to resemble uneven natural ground, providing a geometric counterpoint to the organic upper curves.
