The original T1 Wire Stool by Verner Panton for Danish brand Plus Linje was created in the early 1960s, at the height of the mid-century modern movement. Its construction is based on a matte black metal rod base, shaped into an open cylindrical structure that lends the seat a sense of lightness and transparency, echoing Bauhaus inspirations. The round, slightly overhanging seat is upholstered in muted brick-red synthetic leather, finished with a contrasting light beige piping that accentuates the seat’s geometry.
